GameTime is pleased to recognize the recent progress of schools participating in the Let's Move! Active Schools (LMAS) program to create a more Active School environment. LMAS is a national initiative that helps ensure 60 minutes of physical activity is the norm for K-12 schools. GameTime strives to bring the positive benefits of physical education and physical activity to every child across the country because we know and believe that active children perform better in school and in life.

During the previous three months, the following schools made improvements in at least one area of their LMAS Action Plan. As an incentive, GameTime awarded these schools a PlayOn! curriculum guide to help equip the schools in their physical education efforts, provide fun outdoor physical activities and to encourage children to maintain a healthy lifestyle:

  • Andersonville Elementary School (Clarkston Community School District, MI)
