GameTime, a leading manufacturer of inclusive playground equipment, is an exhibitor this week at the 20th Annual ADA Symposium in Denver, Colorado. The four day event is a comprehensive conference on the Americans with Disabilities Act and is designed to provide the latest information on ADA regulations and guidelines, implementation strategies, and best practices through dynamic, interactive sessions.

GameTime is a long-standing sponsor and exhibitor at the conference. “Our mission is to help communities create inclusive play and outdoor recreation spaces,” said Tom Norquist, Senior Vice President at GameTime. “This symposium educates attendees on how to be effective advocates for accessibility and inclusion. Our goal is to provide attendees with the resources necessary to plan and design play environments for children and families all abilities.”

The GameTime exhibit includes examples of playgrounds designed using the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design™, as outlined in the Me2 program. Me2 was created in partnership with PlayCore and Utah State University, Center for Persons with Disabilities. It is a comprehensive best-practice guide for designing inclusive playgrounds that benefit the whole child. GameTime will also be sharing information on how communities can design inclusive play spaces that are added to a national register and designated as National Demonstration Sites for Inclusive Play.
