Fit at Any Age

GameTime and Sinclair Recreation, GameTime's exclusive representative in Michigan, recently completed an outdoor fitness park in Rochester, MI. The part includes GameTime fitness equipment specifically designed for users ages 50 and up. The need for adaptive fitness programs for the 50 and older population in this community has grown rapidly. The Rochester Older Person Commission worked with Matt Campanella of Sinclair Recreation to create an outdoor fitness space that helps outdoors stay active, even with decreased mobility.

The GameTime fitness equipment looks like products found in a health center, but is designed for outdoor use. The smooth, rubber-cushioned surface is ADA accessible, as is all the equipment.

The fitness park is more accessible to low-mobility members and encourages more comprehensive exercises for people of all ages. Inclusion of equipment such as chest presses, double ellipticals, sit up benches, captain’s chairs and other cardio and strength devices allows for both casual usage as well as circuit training. Each piece of equipment is ADA accessible and provides modified exercises for individuals at any level seeking to better their health.

The autumn colors are beautiful and welcome users to the outdoor fitness space. Because of the well-planned design, these same trees will provide natural shade during the warm summer months.
