Nearly 200 community members, volunteers and dignitaries gathered on May 12 for the ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of a new GameTime inclusive playground in Kansas City, Missouri. The project was funded by CVS Caremark’s “All Kids Can” program and will serve the Ivanhoe neighborhood as a play environment for children of all abilities.
The playground at Jim Nutter Park is Kansas City’s first to be developed with Boundless Playgrounds, the nation’s leading non-profit developer of inclusive play environments. It is also one of 50 playgrounds developed around the nation by CVS Caremark’s “All Kids Can” program, which provided a $75,000 grant to build the barrier-free playground.
GameTime offers a free, comprehensive guide that helps customers locate funding opportunities like the grant that made the Kansas City playground possible. For more information on GameTime’s funding resources, please call 800–235–2440, email info@gametime.com or visit gametime.com/funding.
