GameTime’s Manufacturing Facility Completes ISO 14001 Recertification

GameTime is pleased to announce the renewal of our ISO 14001:2004 certification, an Environmental Management Standard. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established the Environmental Management Systems to encourage companies to evaluate all areas where its activities have an environmental impact.

Companies with the ISO 14001:2004 certification submit to an annual independent audit of their manufacturing processes to assure continual improvement and conformity with the standard, as well as evidence of an ongoing commitment to environmentally sustainable operations.

GameTime’s 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Fort Payne, Alabama continually strives to minimize its impact on the environment through conservation measures. The independent auditors reported many positive observations, including:

  • Ongoing improvements in overall operations, spill prevention and related (5S) for the internal operations and outside storage locations.
  •  New equipment installation were well-planned with no negative environmental impact
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements is very effective to ensure all Environmental Permit and related are met
  • Measures in place to ensure Contractors are approved and involved with the EHS Program at GameTime
