When Great Parks of Hamilton County in Cincinnati, Ohio, needed a unique outdoor fitness solution for their community, they knew they needed to call GameTime. Together, GameTime, DWA Recreation, and Great Parks of Hamilton County developed three custom pieces of fitness equipment that challenge users as they develop new levels of strength and wellness. Trainers and athletes adapt their exercises to fit the specific needs of each user.
Three Fitness Stations, Endless Possibilities
Double Overhead Ladder
Grip Strength, Upper Body Trainer and Core Blaster
The Double Overhead Ladder was designed to mimic the same event found at obstacle course races. It is wide enough for two users at the same time to traverse the structure or for an entire group to exercise at once. Challenging, rugged, and durable, it's the centerpiece of the new fitness space at Woodland Mound Park.
Over Under Vaults
Aerobic fitness, muscle strength and plyometric monster
The over/under vaults at Woodland Mound Park offer dozens of uses for every fitness level, but they are a perfect analog to the hurdles found on obstacle courses. Climb over them, duck under them or shadowbox your way through them. No matter your path, you'll come out the other side stronger than before.
Multi Rig
Muscle fitness, endurance enhancer and all-around kitchen sink trainer
Whatever you bring to the Multi Rig it will take it and make you better for it. Attach bands or grips (like all three pieces), climb over it, climb under it, perform horizontal pull-ups and more. This is the most versatile outdoor fitness equipment and it's ready to make you stronger!
