A Healthy Place for Everyone
David Carnes Park in the Whitehaven community of Memphis, Tennessee is the first Healthy Place project funded by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation. The nine-acre park includes two inclusive playgrounds, splash pad, walking trails, Challenge Course and outdoor fitness equipment, community pavillion and a multi-use turf field.
GameTime designed the park with landscape architects and selected the play and recreation products based on feedback from the community. The year-long $4.5 million project is a transformation that will promote health and wellness for generations to come.
