AAHPERD’s mission is to promote and support leadership, research, education, and best practices in the professions that support creative, healthy, and active lifestyles. This alliance of five national associations, six district associations, and a research consortium supports healthy lifestyles through a variety of outstanding programs.  Through our parent company, PlayCore,  GameTime stays abreast of best practices in physical education.

Promoting Healthy Childhoods

GameTime has worked closely with the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation (AAPAR), one of AAHPERD’s associations, to support our initiatives to combat childhood obesity and promote physical activity and fitness.  Developed in partnership with our parent company, PlayCore and AAPAR, GameTime offers, Play On!: Playground Learning Activities for Youth Fitness, to provide opportunities to bring fun learning and fitness activities to the playground through the use of six key elements of play. GameTime exhibits at AAHPERD events and conferences and is careful to align our products and programs to help meet the needs of physical educators, early childhood educators, and schools. We work closely with these associations to ensure that our outdoor fitness products and fitness programs provide a fun, effective way to improve the health and wellness of adults, adolescents, and children.
